Rebecca Cathcart is a Paralegal with Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay.

Her legal experience extends into education law, consumer protection, and community lawyering.

Rebecca worked for several years with Legal Aid of North Carolina, where she not only represented clients, but also conducted in-depth research that led to developing resources used for clients and attorneys. She forged partnerships with additional agencies, professionals and groups to pursue policy briefs and guides that assisted clients seeking Legal Aid’s assistance.

Her strong research skills stemmed from working across the United States in various consumer protection roles. From white-collar investigations to policy foundations, Rebecca’s work contributed to successful case resolutions.

In addition to her legal career, she also had a career in journalism, not only working in the field at The New York Times, but also teaching. She traveled extensively throughout the world in these pursuits.
