Scott Bockelman

Scott Bockelman is the Global Operations Director for Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay.

Currently living just outside Chicago, Illinois, Scott has worn many hats in his career, from roles in Atlanta, New Jersey, and New York to his current position as the firm’s Global Operations Director. While not a practicing attorney, Scott’s background includes intellectual property and patent law, security vulnerability assessment, liability, and software copyrights. His day-to-day work focuses on supporting the full life cycle of cases through the firm’s integrated software systems, client intake processes, and mass communications for mass arbitration cases.

Scott enjoys the challenge of collaborating with highly intelligent and thoughtful colleagues. He thrives in problem-solving environments, often applying creative and technical solutions to improve workflows and client outcomes.

Outside the office, Scott is a musician who writes, composes, and records all the instruments for his tracks under the artist name Childhood Strangers on Bandcamp. He has two adult children — a game designer and a math teacher — and spends weekends with his partner watching psychological thrillers and horror films.
