Emily Wilson is the Director of Client Services with Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay. In this role, she collaborates closely with attorneys from key corporate, government and nonprofit organizations. She ensures clients and partners have access to the full range of services at the firm. Emily is also an integral member of the municipal practice team.
Corporate History
Her foray into the legal industry came with an outreach position for the Camp Lejeune litigation, working with clients and physicians. She worked with clients from the onboarding period, ensuring a smooth transition of the legal process, collaborating with them to gather case-specific records, documents and additional information. Her work included fostering relationship with physicians and liaising with clients and attorneys to further important communications. This was a highly confidential matter, with strict protocols to safeguard client information.
Prior to her legal work, Emily worked for more than a decade in government services.
As a policy advisor for the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives in Raleigh, NC, she planned and executed the Speaker’s policy agenda in areas including energy, the environment, personnel, culture, budget and regulatory reform. She worked closely with counsel and attorneys to research and draft legislation, liaising with executive branch officials, lobbyists, constituents and the Speaker.
As the federal affairs manager for the Tennessee Valley Authority, she secured relationships with government officials and key opinion leaders, facilitation communications between the board of directors and federal agencies. Her role included keeping the board apprised of issues and trends, researching policies and procedures and facilitating internal leadership. Emily previously served as a legislative correspondent with the organization.

Outside the office, Emily enjoys cheering on her children at their many extracurricular events, playing pickleball with her husband, and caring for the family’s sweet—but slightly wild—golden doodle.
