Jonathan Cohen is a Senior Partner at Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay where he leads the firm’s mass arbitration division. With a legal career dedicated to advocating for consumers, Jonathan focuses his practice on high-stakes mass arbitrations and complex class action litigation involving deceptive business practices, data privacy violations, and other consumer protection issues.
Jonathan currently manages a team of attorneys and legal professionals who prosecute individual arbitration claims on behalf of hundreds of thousands of consumers. These matters span a broad range of industries and issues, including privacy violations, unauthorized data sharing, data breaches, and unfair or deceptive trade practices.
Legal History
Prior to joining Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay, Jonathan served as a senior partner at Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman, where he oversaw the firm’s mass arbitration practice.
Before concentrating on mass arbitration, Jonathan litigated a wide array of consumer class actions in both state and federal courts. He has represented plaintiffs in cases against banks, mortgage servicers, debt collectors, manufacturers, retailers, insurance carriers, and media companies, asserting claims under statutes such as the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), among others.
He previously held partner roles at Morgan & Morgan’s complex litigation group and at James, Hoyer, Newcomer & Smiljanich, P.A., where he focused on consumer class actions and whistleblower (qui tam) litigation.

A native of Albany, New York, and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Jonathan worked in the marketing and advertising industry in Chicago prior to entering the legal profession. He has since built a distinguished career advocating for consumer rights.
