Associate

Lynn Johnson is an Associate Attorney with Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay. She focuses her practice on catastrophic injury litigation and mass arbitration matters. Lynn is passionate about protecting consumer rights and holding companies accountable for all kinds of consumer fraud.

Legal History

Lynn has served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Allegra Collins at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and interned for the Honorable Jeffrey Carpenter, also at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. She was a summer associate with Batten McLamb Smith and discovered her passion for consumer-rights and appellate advocacy when she interned for the North Carolina Department of Justice’s Consumer Protection Division, and the Wake County Public Defender’s Office.

She has conducted comprehensive research of intricate legal matters including complex constitutional issues, high-profile criminal offenses, multifaceted contractual disputes, various employment-related claims, and complex tort claims. She drafted memoranda, assisted with the opinion-drafting process and handled court edits and citation checks. She has provided document review, drafted subpoenas for education, antitrust and product liability among other cases.

Her experience includes attending depositions, mediations and hearings. She assisted in case preparation, drafted briefs and worked on medical malpractice cases. Lynn developed advocacy skills through consistent representation of clients in bond hearings, motions and plea negotiations.

While attending Washington & Lee University, she competed on the women’s basketball team.
