Robert Jimenez is a Partner with Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay.

The core of litigation is the discovery process, and evidence in the modern age is overwhelmingly digital. Data presents novel legal issues that are interesting and require innovative solutions. Robert is passionate about the intersection between law and technology.

Robert has a diverse litigation background, including a focus on electronic discovery. He has experience in areas ranging from commercial and real estate cases to intellectual property and data privacy matters. Robert has represented some of the largest banking and financial institutions in the world, has litigated for and against famous trademark owners, and has secured millions of dollars in judgments and settlement awards on behalf of institutional and individual clients.

Additionally, he counsels clients, other law firms and attorneys, on electronic discovery issues. He has been awarded certifications from The Electronic Discovery Institute, The Sedona Conference, and the Association of Certified E-discovery Specialists.

Awards and Recognition

In 2015, he was awarded the LL.M. Outstanding Legal Research and Writing Award for his graduate thesis, Revolution: USA, Cuba, and the Future of Trademarks, which was published as the cover article in the July/August 2016 edition of Landslide Magazine (the American Bar Association’s intellectual property journal).

He has published nearly a dozen articles on intellectual property law and electronic discovery. 

Personal Notes

Outside the office, Robert enjoys playing hockey (he also played collegiate ice hockey). He also enjoys creative writing and is a published author.
