Scott C. Harris is a Senior Partner at Bryson Harris Suciu DeMay.
He has built his career on a simple belief: ordinary people deserve extraordinary advocacy; everyone deserves fairness and justice in the courts, no matter how big their opponent.
His practice focuses on fighting for individuals, consumers, tenants for junk fees, and small businesses in complex litigation.
From the beginning of his legal career, Scott has focused on complex consumer and construction defect litigation, product liability, and wrongful practices that harm everyday people. Over the years, his practice has grown to emphasize class action litigation, particularly in areas such as consumer class actions, debt collection, junk fees, convenience fees, and landlord and tenant fees. His work has touched every stage of the process, from initial client conversations and case investigation to working with experts, managing discovery, coordinating class procedures, and ensuring fair distribution of settlements.
Legal History
Before law school, Scott taught English to 9th and 10th graders at Orangeburg Preparatory School in South Carolina. This experience sharpened his ability to connect with people and explain complex ideas clearly.
His legal career began with a focus on complex civil and business litigation before working to establish the nationally recognized consumer advocacy practice he leads today.
Scott is known for his integrity, collaboration, and unwavering dedication to his clients. His colleagues describe him as a steady voice of reason in complex litigation; his clients know him as a relentless advocate who never loses sight of the people he represents.
